Sandra was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on September 2, 1954 and passed away on February 9, 2015. She graduated from Nampa High School in 1972. Sandra worked at the State School in Nampa where she loved her work with disabled children. There she met Bill Hopper and was married to him in 1980. A short stay in Washington State found them working with disabled persons until their return to Nampa in 1983.
Sandra's second marriage was to the love of her life, Jonathan Trujillo, and from this union a son, Jonathan, Jr., was born. She then worked for the State of Idaho Department of Transportation for approximately 15 years and retired due to heath reasons in 2013. She always enjoyed her work and made friends wherever she went.
Sandra was always organizing activities with her family and friends, a long-time member of american Business Women's Organizatian (now called Idaho Women for Success), and is remembered for her sense of humor and bright demeanor.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Jonathan Trujillo, son Jonathan, Jr., mother, Dorothy Johnson, father, Phillip Baker, brothers Randy, Dan and Marty Baker, and Aunt Mary White, all of Nampa, Idaho. Also, brother-in-law Jaren Conklin of Battle Mountain, Nevada, Ann Merrill of Jerome, Idaho, Uncle Larry Bakef(Jan) of Gresham, Oregon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be held at 11: 00 A.M. February 21, 2015 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. South, Nampa, Idaho. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org) or to a charity of your choice.
