It turns out Scott "Scotty", "Scooter", "Daddy" Erin Drakes weeklong coma was not an elaborate prank he was playing on everyone and he passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8th, 2015 at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise surrounded by family and friends. He was 46.
Scott is survived by his parents Ronald Drake and Janet Monson (Warren, ID) his true love Christina Drake (Nampa, ID), his kiddos Miranda Drake (Amsterdam, NL, for now), Cassandra Morrison (Caldwell, ID), McKienze Drake and Devan Drake (Nampa, ID) as well as his siblings, in-laws and a slew of very sad nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by the best dog that ever lived, Ebony Jade Drake.
Scott was born On July 29th, 1968 in Blackfoot, Idaho. He spent much of his childhood and adolescence making his way between family members across Idaho and Oregon where he participated in rodeo, spared porcupines from becoming his supper, flew in Bill Pickles rickety propeller plane, harbored runaway friends under his bed and avoided the wrath of the Irish Mafia. In 1986 he settled in Nampa, Idaho after meeting the love of his life, Christina. Over the next 29 years Scott and Christina Drake made a home for their four children full of humor and love. Scott enjoyed fishing, camping, Christinas homemade gravy, playing poker with his buddies, substances that rhyme with "Tijuana" and watching movies with his family. He will be remembered for his big heart, sense of humor and ability to get you to eat even though you werent really up for it.
