September Jean Paul, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 42.

Born on September 27, 1982, September was the daughter of Dusty and Kris Cottle. She married the love of her life, Matt Paul, who stood by her as a strong supporter and loving partner through all of life's seasons. Together, they built a beautiful family. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Tatum and Leia, who were the pride and joy of her life.

September, who grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho, will be remembered for her motherly energy, her love for family and friends, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her. She had a gift for making others feel cared for, welcomed, and deeply loved. Fun to be around, she carried a lively spirit that filled spaces with laughter. Though small in stature, she made a big impact on those fortunate enough to know her. She adored her animals, cheered passionately as a devoted Steelers fan, and lived her life with a generosity of heart that touched countless lives.

She is survived by her husband, Matt; daughters, Tatum and Leia; mother, Kris Cottle; sister, Tamra Cottle (Scott Durham); grandfathers, Bill Cottle and Gordon Jones; and many loving extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Dusty Cottle, and grandmothers, Gloria Cottle and Sally Jones.

Though September's time here was far too short, her legacy of love, joy, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
