It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sergio Reynoso, a beloved father, brother, and friend, who left this world on April 26, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho, at the age of 79. Born on June 2, 1945, in Jalisco, Mexico, Sergio's life was a tapestry of love, loyalty, and unwavering strength. He was a proud Vietnam veteran who served his country with valor and courage, earning an honorable discharge that reflects his commitment to service. Sergio was the son of Guadalupe and Gabina, and he grew up in a household that instilled strong values and a deep sense of family. He is preceded in death by his beloved siblings Guadalupe Jr., Juan, and Abel, who welcomed him with open arms into the afterlife. His legacy continues through his two sisters, Lilia, Imelda, and his brother Miguel, who will forever cherish the memories of their time together. A devoted father, Sergio, leaves behind four children: Sergio Jr., Gabrielle, Sheila, and Megan. His love for his children was profound, and he dedicated his life to ensuring their happiness and success. Sergio was unfathomably loyal to his family and friends, embodying the essence of a caring and charismatic gentleman. His engaging personality and warm spirit drew people to him, and everywhere he went, he was loved by those fortunate enough to know him. Sergio was known for his stylish and classy way of dressing, often seen cruising in his classic Old Cadillac or Buick, a reflection of his vibrant personality and zest for life. He had a unique ability to light up a room, and his cool and laid-back energy was infectious. He always loved to 'jive!'. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of spending time with him. A viewing with military honors will be held at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 1pm. A military memorial and burial service honoring Sergio will be held at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery in Boise, May 22, 2025, at 10AM, where family and friends can gather to pay their respects and celebrate a life well-lived. As we gather to remember Sergio, let us carry forward his legacy of love, loyalty, and joy. Rest in peace, dear Sergio. Your spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
