Sharon Jerome Obituary Sharon Louise Jerome, 71, of Nampa was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 26, 2018 while in hospice care at home. Sharon was born July 26,1947 to W. Burri and Doretta Epperly in Nampa Idaho. She graduated high school from Nampa Senior High in 1965. She then attended college at Boise State College in 1966 for one year, and then she married her high school sweet heart, Loren Keith Jerome April 7, 1967. While Loren was deployed with the U.S. Navy to Viet Nam, Sharon worked for the State of Idaho DMV as a file clerk. After Loren returned from deployment they had a daughter in 1976 named JoAnn. She then worked for Kmart part-time at the customer service desk for 29 years where she then retired. Sharon was very involved in social activities with her daughter. She enjoyed camping and traveling to see friends and family, doing ceramics, shopping, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She joined the Catholic Church in 1983. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her half-brothers Bill and Robert Epperly and her half-sister Verna Ewing. She leaves behind her husband of 51 years Loren Jerome, her only child JoAnn Claybaugh, and her only grand-daughter Cherokee Claybaugh A viewing will be held from 4 to 6 pm Thursday, Aug 30, 2018 followed by a recitation of the Rosary at 6 pm at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday, Aug 31, 2018 at the St. Pauls Catholic Church, Nampa. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
