With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our loving brother, father, and unforgettable soul who left us far too soon. He lived boldly, loved deeply, and brought laughter everywhere he went. Hilariously funny and sharper than the Encyclopedia Britannica, a walking Google engine, he had a mind that never stopped working and a spirit that never stopped living. He was the proud father of Ion, Phoebe, Anya, and Thomas. His children were his world—his greatest joy, his deepest purpose, and the legacy he cherished above all else. In his early years, he built a remarkable life through hard work, vision, and determination. He founded and ran the highly successful Gibraltar Tile, leaving a lasting mark on the city of Las Vegas by completing tile work in many of its iconic hotels and resorts. His craftsmanship and leadership were matched only by his drive and passion. He was deeply shaped by the love and example of his parents, Ion and Silvia, whom he adored and regarded as his greatest role models. Family meant everything to him. One of thirteen siblings, he was the first to pass, a loss felt profoundly by all who loved him. He is survived by his siblings: Daniel, Gabriel, Marilena (Acevedo), Simona (Menchaca), Luminita (Hall), Ion Jr., Viorel, David, Eugen, Petru, Emanuel, and Ana (Moroshan). He lived life to the fullest—he lived hard, laughed loudly, loved fiercely, and left too early. Though his time here was not long enough, his impact was immense. He will live on through his children, his family and the countless lives he touched. Forever loved, forever missed.
