Stans 95 years of living yielded a wealth of treasured memories for those of us he has left behind. Those close to him experienced his never ending "life of the party' demeanor, his comical sense of humor (almost wicked at times), his feisty attitude, and shameless flirting!!! He never "met a stranger ~ just a friend waiting to happen. Stan was never afraid to waste his breath on a good "war' story whether from life in general or during his Navy service or CHP career.
Studying the family genealogy was definitely a devoted commitment that he shared with a willing family audience. He could exhibit true strength of character with a generous spirit or dig in his heels with a stubborn stance (true Scotsman that he was). Loyal to family, Stan offered his loving time, advice and help when lifes challenges tried to be overbearing.
Stanley Callan Millar, you will forever remain close in our hearts, grateful to have had you in our lives, and all that you poured into us at one time or another. We say "so long' for now and well have a future family reunion with you in Heaven!!!
