Stella Mae Gillmore

With Sadden hearts we want to inform you of the passing of Stella Mae Gillmore on August 27, 2026. She passed peacefully home surrounded by loved ones and family members.

She was born on August 14, 1936, in Boise ID, to Glenn and Hasel Briggs. Stella grew up in Nampa then moved to Ontario Oregan. In 1952 she met Oliver James Gillmore and they were married on November 5, 1954, in Nampa, Idaho. They lived in Payette ID from 1959 to 1979 when they had 2 daughters. In 1979 they moved to Jordan Valley, OR where they lived until 1986. In 1988 they bought their home on Riverside Rd in Caldwell, ID where they still call home.

Stella worked as a Nurses Aid at the Ontario Hospital; she also worked in the Ontario Laundry and in a nursing home in Ontario. While they lived in Caldwell, she worked as a bus aid for the Brown Bus Company for 8 years.

She is preceded in Death by her Brothers Jim Briggs, Richard Briggs and Sister Dorthy Welch. She is survived by her Sisters Alice Reed and Gladys Smith.

She was Loved and will be greatly missed by Her Husband Jim Gillmore. Her Daughters and son in laws: Dixie & Neal Mackay and Robbin & Barry Frandsen. Grandkids: Misty & Mike Anderson, James Frandsen, Chelsea Frandsen, Mandy & Rob Tiges, Mendy & Anthony Green. Great Grandkids: Jordon & Paul, Shelby & Zakk, Wesley, Clarabelle, Annabelle, Coalton, Levi, Morgana, and Freya. Great-Great-Grandkids: Jacoby, Corbin, and Jaxson.
