Suzanne Snead Obituary Suzanne Suzie Cheryl Snead (Stone) was born May 8, 1963, in Gustine, CA, to Pastor Culver and Marva Stone. She accepted Jesus as her personal savior as a very young child and served Him all the days of her life. On October 2, 2024, Suzie passed away in Boise, ID. She was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin and friend. She was an ordained Pastor of Greater Life Church, and the owner of My Neighborhood Mortgage.
Suzie met her husband, Mark Snead, in 1978 at her Fathers church in South Sacramento, CA. The couple married on April 2, 1982. They raised three beautiful daughters together. They welcomed their three sons-in-law into the family and were blessed with eight wonderful grandchildren. Suzie loved being a Nana and was their number one fan.
Suzie was determined to set a strong example as an influential woman in leadership and business. She was an ordained Minister, Certified Coach and Speaker for the John Maxwell Group, and graduated from George Fox University with a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Organizational Leadership. She moved her way through the financial industry, beginning as a teller, loan officer, marketing director, branch manager, chief operations officer and eventually a business owner.
Her greatest legacy, though, was in service to the Kingdom of God. From an early age, Suzie reverently ushered Gods people into His presence through the gift of music; singing in her fathers choir, playing the piano, and as the worship leader for many years. Mark and Suzie founded Greater Life Church in Nampa, ID in 1994. She has been a mother to the motherless, a word of encouragement, a prayer warrior and a full-time worshiper. She has led many to the Lord. Her light was always shining!
Suzie will be greatly missed by her husband, Mark Snead, her daughters, Rebekah Wherry (Benjamin), Anna Grimm (Timothy), Melissa Harmon (Kyle), her eight grandchildren, Jackson, Noah, Arianna, Olivia, Stetson, Cody, Jonah, Avonlea, and her two brothers, Culver Stone (Karen), and Donald Stone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Culver Cub and Marva Stone, sister Rhonda Stone, her brothers, Jeffrey Stone and Bruce Stone.
Suzies celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 10 AM at Greater Life Church, Nampa, ID. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Sonshine Kids Club Mission in Iquitos, Peru via Greater Life Church. Text "give" to 208-366-5300.
