Terry L. Robinson, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2015 in Alamo, CA. Terry was born May 29, 1947 in Gooding, ID to Irving and Waunita Robinson.
At the age of four Terry and his family moved to Nampa, ID. After graduating from Nampa High School in 1965, Terry attended the University of Idaho graduating with a degree in Accounting in 1969. He was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Terry earned an MBA in Finance from the U. of California at Berkley.
On Dec 27, 1971 Terry married Vicki Mangum and they had two children, Bradley and Angela.
After Berkley, Terry began a 30 plus year banking career starting as the Executive VP of The American Bank of Commerce (ABC) in Boise. Terry and his family later moved to Napa, CA where he was the CEO of Vintage Bank which later grew into North Bay Bancorp. Two years after his retirement, after North Bay Bancorp sold to Umpqua Bank, Terry became the CEO of Plaza Bank in Irvine, CA and then most recently the CEO of the Bank of Manhattan in Manhattan Beach, CA. Idaho was important to Terry. It is where he grew up, where his family lived and where he has many lifelong friends. He cherished his time spent with his TKE brothers and shared his memories and stories of his brothers until the day he died. Not only did he have a passion for his work and family, he also loved to have a good time. Terry was happy to be invited to a good party and you count on him flashing his million dollar smile while he enjoyed a few drinks with friends.
