Virginia Joyce Jimenez

Virginia 'Joyce' Jimenez, a beloved daughter mother, sister and grandmother, peacefully passed away at her home in the company of those she loved most on August 28, 2026. Born on October 26, 1951, in Torrington, Wyoming. Joyce was the cherished daughter of Delfino and Eufemia Martinez Joyce's life was a testament to love, strength, and resilience. 

She got married in 1969 to Teno Jimenez for 37 years, they worked side by side with their sons as professional detailers, a profession that allowed Joyce to exercise her keen eye for detail and dedication to excellence. Joyce was a woman of vibrant spirit, known for her outspoken nature, fiery personality, and generous heart. And most Important she was Grandma a roll she loved and Cherished, her home was a sanctuary where family and friends gathered, drawn to her warmth and lively presence. 

It was said that once you stepped into her home, you’d find it hard to leave, such was the comfort and joy she provided. For those who knew her know that she loved to sit down and crack a cold one, something she enjoyed with the company of others. An avid outdoorswoman, Joyce found great joy in fishing, camping, and hunting with her sons. Family was at the heart of everything she did, and she treasured the moments spent surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and happiness. 

Joyce is survived by her Brothers John I, Rudy, Delfino Jr. Jessie, Ronnie, Adolopho and children, Faustino Jimenez, Michelle Medina, William Jimenez and Robert Martinez alongside her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her Mother & Father, brother Charles Martinez and sister Marie Romero and Grandson Faustino Jimenez, whose memories she cherished. 

A celebration of Joyce's remarkable life will be held on September 9, 2026, viewing 4pm-6pm and Ceremony 6pm-8pm at the Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel, located at 415 12th Avenue South, Nampa, Idaho 83651. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor a life so wonderful and loved and will be deeply missed for a lifetime.
