Vivi Axell Obituary Vivi Axell passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho, at the age of 83. She was born on June 5, 1941, in Tapa, Estonia. As a child, she fled to Sweden as a refugee from the war. Later, she immigrated to Canada and then the United States, settling into her new lifeall before the age of 26. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sven-ke Axell, and her parents, Hilda Thompson and August Olleva. Vivi is survived by her daughter, Lena Johnson (Jeff), as well as her four grandchildren, Allison Peyton (Ben), Kristina Peyton (Ricky), Caitlyn Johnson (Nick), and Jake Johnson (Kayleigh), and her eight great-grandchildren, Kade, Adrianna, Landon, Mila, Lexi, Makenna, Kaia, and Sadie, who brought her great joy. Vivi will be remembered for her resilience, hardworking nature, tenderness, and devotion to her faith and family. She was deeply loved by her family and made a lasting impact on those around her. She was an incredible cook who filled her home with warmth and a talented seamstress whose hands crafted beauty and care into everything she touched. Her legacy of love, faith, and perseverance will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. A funeral service to honor Vivis life will be held on March 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather and celebrate her memory. Refreshments will be served at the home of her daughter following the service. Vivi will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
