Wanda Ann Musgrave

Wanda Ann Musgrave, 90, of Nampa Idaho, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 16, 2026.

To know Wanda was to know a truly amazing and loving mother, a cherished sister, a legendary educator and a woman of deep and unwavering faith.

During her years as a military wife, she demonstrated her characteristic resilience and drive, continuing her education while navigating the unique challenges of military life. Her passion for learning eventually led her back to the classroom, where she returned to teaching full-time.

Wanda spent most of her teaching years as an elementary school teacher, specializing in 2nd and 3rd grade. She had a unique gift for making a difference in her students’ lives and helping them realize their true potential. Her excellence didn't go unnoticed; she earned numerous teaching awards during her tenure, though she always insisted her greatest honors were the handmade cards and success stories from her former students.

In 2003, Wanda married Larry Yellen, with whom she shared many wonderful and adventure-filled years. Together, they built a life rooted in the joy of companionship and love.

Wanda’s greatest joy in life was her family and friends. She was at her happiest when the house was full of laughter and the people she loved were gathered around her. Whether she was catching up over a long conversation or embarking on a new adventure, she was a constant source of encouragement and light.

To Wanda, a stranger was just a friend she hadn’t met yet; she genuinely loved getting to know people, and in return, they couldn't help but love her. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched with her warm smile, infectious laughter, and the good she saw in everyone.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
