Whitney Danielle Garcia passed away on August 16th, 2012 at the age of 16. Whitney was born in Nampa, Idaho on September 11th 1995. Whitney enjoyed many sports including softball and most recently mixed martial arts. Whitney was a fun-loving, outgoing, free spirit that had a way of touching those that were lucky enough to be in her life. Whitney is survived by her parents Lorie Kafka and Ernest Garcia; four siblings, brothers Nicholas Garcia, Jacob Garcia and Nathan Kafka and sister, Tequisha Garcia; grandparents Thomas and Rosemary Williams, Ernie Rios and Lucita Annie Saucedo; as well as two nieces, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Whitney will be deeply missed and mourned by all that knew her. A celebration of Whitneys life will be held on Tuesday August 21st at Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel from 4-7pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 22nd at 11:00 A.M. at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Nampa. She will be laid to rest in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa. In lieu of flowers Whitneys parents asked that memorial donations be made to Lorie Kafka or Ernest Garcia through the Wells Fargo Bank to help with funeral expenses.
