Willard Bradburn Obituary Willard Weslie Bradburn, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho, surrounded by his loving family. He was 91 years old.
Willard was born on February 23, 1933, in Nampa to Albert and Permilia Bradburn. A lifelong resident of Nampa, he attended Roosevelt Elementary, Central Junior High, and Nampa High School before earning a baseball scholarship to Northwest Nazarene College, where he studied for a year. On April 15, 1956, Willard was married to Florence Charlotte Rupert. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising four sonsWill Jr., John, David, and Jerry. Their love and devotion were an inspiration, and in 2024, they joyfully celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. Willard dedicated 25 years of service as a firefighter, courageously protecting his community until his retirement in 1979. In his well-earned retirement, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, metal detecting, and staying active. His greatest joy, however, was his family. He was dearly loved by his sons, daughter-in-law, and especially his granddaughter, Mahala, who was the apple of his eye.
Willard is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte; his four sons, all of Nampa; his daughter-in-law, Deb Bradburn; and his cherished granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Mahala and David Allish of Pocatello, Idaho.
A Celebration of Life service to honor and celebrate Willards life will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. South. An online guest book is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com
Willards kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
