Yolanda Pherigo Obituary Yolanda Trejo Pherigo, 62, of Nampa, Idaho went home to be with our Lord on October 25, 2021. She was born to Jesus and Ramona Trejo on February 4, 1959. She was the third child of nine children born into a very loving family. Yolandas life was not an easy one since she was born with a rare disease that slowly robbed her of her sight at an early age and other complications later in her life. Despite all her medical problems, Yolanda accepted her fate and never questioned "why Her". Yolanda attended classes at the Commission for the Blind in Boise where she met the love of her life, Bob Pherigo. They married and to their union their daughter Monica was born November of 1981. Sadly, Bob was taken from this earth way to early in 1986. Later she met Pedro who helped her raise Monica and to their union they had a daughter Cruzsenda. Yolanda will be remembered for her will to persevere in life and by not letting her blindness and inability to walk get in the way of the love of her family. She loved the song "Paper Roses" and listened and danced to Mexican music. She is survived by her mother and father Jesus and Ramona Trejo; her daughter Monica Pherigo; her sister Mary Lou Leal; her brothers Andres (Delia) Trejo, Tomas Trejo, David (Martita) Trejo, Jesse, Jr, Trejo, Michael Trejo, Delfino Trejo and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Yolanda was preceded in death by Bob Pherigo, Cruzsenda Trejo, sister Sandra Trejo and Pedro Cruz. The family wishes to thank the caregivers Cindy B. and Jessica A. for the kind compassionate care they gave Yolanda. Yolanda loved their homemade meals! Though we are heart broken, let us rejoice for in Gods Kingdom, Yolanda has her sight and walked on her own to witness the glory of Gods promised eternal home. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Nampa. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
