Alta (Whiting) Allsworth

It’s with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our loving mother, Alta Allsworth who passed away in Kuna, Idaho on September 16, 2021. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11 AM. The family will greet loved ones and friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday evening from 5 – 7 PM at the Nampa Funeral Home. Burial will be on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021 at 1 PM at the Salmon, Idaho Cemetery. An online guest book is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com

Mom was born March 24, 1927 in Pocatello (Crystal), Idaho.  Her parents were Forres and Margery Whiting.  Mom was the last surviving child of the union.  Out of 14 children Mom was the 10th.  She was a devout member of the L.D.S. Church.

Alta is survived by her daughters, Carol Larrea, Robin Hansen, Joyce Belli and Deeden Kimbrough. Mom was preceded in death by her husbands, Al Phelan, Lloyd Johnson, and Cliff Allsworth.  She was also preceded in death by her children, Vera Pohto and Dennis Johnson. Mom has several grandchildren and many great and great greats.

Mom wore several hats in her life.  First of all she was a loving mother.  She was always there and willing to help family and friends when needed.  She was the pillar of our family.  We wanted to thank Swan Falls Assisted Living for the loving care Mom received.
