Anita Margaret deBoer, 70, of Nampa Idaho, passed away August 29, 2020, with her family by her side. She was born to the late John and Margaret Capra, April 5, 1950 in Trenton, New Jersey.  Anita attended El Centro High School in El Centro, California and she moved to Nampa, Idaho the winter of 1977. Anita married Henry deBoer September 25, 1993 in Caldwell, Idaho and have lived in the Nampa, Caldwell and Cascade area during their marriage.

Anita is survived by her devoted husband, Henry deboer; her loving dog YoYo; her brother, Mario Capra, Manteca, CA; step-sister, Carmen Julia Marrero, Salt Lake City, Ut; daughter, Staci Margaret Grant and son-in-law Andy Grant, Nampa; step-daughter, Janie Pryor and son-in-law Mike Pryor, Nampa; step-daughter, Malinda Benitez and son-in-law Salvador Benitez, Wenatche, WA; and step-son, John deBoer and daughter-in-law Brendi DeBoer, Pasco, WA.  

Anita was a proud grandmother to Samantha and Alexander Grant, Kirsten Sayers-Pryor, Kyndra Britt, Stephanie Palmer, Felicia deBoer, Jazmine Morelos, Jeronimo Morelos, Miguel Morelos, Fabian Morelos, Robert Mowry, James Mowry and Jennifer Mowry.  Also nieces April Freeley, Julie Carmen Rodriguez, Kristy VanRij-Machelle and Shami Stoval. Nephew John VanRij.

She was blessed with 25 great grandchildren and 11 great nieces and nephews.

Anita was preceded in death by her Mother, Margaret Frances Capra, Father John Joseph Capra, Grandmother Grace Margaret Harmon “Mom, Mom”, Brother John Joseph “JJ” Capra II, Step-Brother Jose Luis Marrero and grandchild Rafael Morelas.

Anita began working for Carnation potato processing in Nampa in 1980 retired in 2008 as a Supervisor over the Team Leaders and computer operator. She loved the challenges of her job and the many friends she made along the way. When she wasn’t working far more than she should, Anita enjoyed camping in Hell’s Canyon, boating, fishing, swimming, traveling, cooking, church, Boise State Football and any activity that her grandchildren and great grandchildren participated in.  Anita’s favorite holiday was Christmas, if she wasn’t waking her family up at 4:30 am for presents she was inventing fun Christmas games to play.  Anita was well known for her home baked Christmas cookies and fudge as she baked for weeks, if you ever received a platter from her, you were someone special. Anita was most proud of anytime she could spend with her family and leaves nothing but beautiful memories.

Celebration of Life Services will be on Friday September 4th at 2pm at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. South, Nampa. Immediately following the celebration, Family and Friends are welcome to join us for dinner at the home of Henry and Anita deBoer located at 1232 Ruth Lane, Nampa (turn on the private road Aldrich). We ask that you bring lawn chairs and anyone is welcome to bring a finger type dessert to share.
