Benjamin Pinihaka "Ben" Manini III

Ben was born March 14, 1962 in Hawaii, where he spent most of his life. Despite being barely above 5'. 5'6 to be exact, his pride and will was that of someone well above 7 feet. His love for those he considered family, was something fierce and special.  After deciding to switch up his starch intake, he moved from the land where everything is placed with rice to the magical land of potatoes. In the last 19 years, Ben's heart changed. His stubborn heart shifted. His love for those he considered family became unmeasurable by anything that exists here on earth. He was diagnosed with cancer in April of 2021. Those who knew Ben, were more sorry for the cancer. Knowing that Ben was going to kick its Ass. Over the last few years Ben showed many who did not know love, what it meant to have a father. He passed on November 22, 2022 at 6:50. The ones who knew him were lucky to have shared irreplaceable moments of laughter, smiles, and wisdom. He will forever be in our hearts as a Teacher, Brother, Father, and Companion.
