Charles Eugene Orr

Charles Eugene Orr passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday February 2, 2021 at the age of 88. Gene was born on September 3, 1932 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Walton and Etta Orr. He was one of eight siblings. He married Frances Irene Sanders Orr on January 2, 1952. They were blessed with three children: Deborah, Rick, and Jerry. After serving in the Army for two years they moved to Parma, Idaho and then on to Nyssa, Oregon where he worked as a water superintendent for the city. After retirement they settled in Nampa, Idaho to be near their children and grandchildren. He loved to fish, hunt, and travel. You’d likely run into him at yard sales searching for old pictures and western books. He lived to meet and love five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He had many close friends over his life that he enjoyed spending time with. Gene and Frances lost their son Jerry in 2014, seven years have passed and Gene has finally gotten to reunite with him. He will be loved and greatly missed by all that knew him.
The graveside service at Koherlawn Cemetery on Friday February 12, 2021 at 2pm has been canceled. Services will be held at a later date.
