Cheryl Marie (Williams) Jordan

Cheryl Marie Jordan (Williams) mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away at home on Monday, August 9,2021. She was 61 years old.

Cheryl was born on August 24,1959 in Butte, Montana. She was the first of three children born to Ralph and Shirley Williams. In her early years, Cheryl and the family lived in different areas including Montana, Idaho and Oregon. After graduating from Borah High School in 1977, Cheryl moved back to Eugene, Oregon, where she attended the University of Oregon. It was in college with a friends help, that she found her true calling and passion of decorating wedding cakes. Cheryl made cakes for several companies and even ran her own cake business for a time.

In December of 1990, Cheryl married Shawn McCormic in Boise, Id. They were blessed with two daughters, Jennifer and Kristina. Cheryl had four beautiful grandchildren, Michael, Caleb, Lillian and Sydney who were the absolute light of her life and center of her universe. She enjoyed every second of being a grandma and always had the best stories to tell about the kids to all her friends and work family.  Among her favorites were finding what hidden toys Caleb would slip into her purse for her to find at work.

Cheryl’s loved ones will remember her most for her love of all things sorts (especially her Boise State Broncos), her love of animals, and the great outdoors through out her life. Cheryl traveled all over the country and parts of Mexico, but she was always drawn to the beauty of Alaska and her excitement showed every time she got to visit.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer (Mitchell)of Perth Aus., Kristina (Chase) of Nampa, Id., one sister, Sandra of Nampa, Id, one brother, Michael (Trudy) of Anchorage, Alaska, her father, Ralph (Cheryl) of Meadview, AZ, her niece, Tina along with daughter Cherish and nephews, Randy, Christian, Nathaniel and her four precious grandchildren, Michael, Caleb, Lillian and Sydney.

She is preceded in death by her love, Samuel and her mother, Shirley.

A visitation for friends and family will be Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.

Cremation will follow visitation.
