Corinne Kay Partida

Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. On Tuesday, April 5th, 2022, Corinne Kay Partida, aged 58, after a short battle with Leukemia, was reunited with her heavenly family and gained her wings.

Corinne was an empathetic spirit whose passion was caring for others, and cherishing her family, friends, patients, and coworkers. Corinne’s true purpose here on this earth was to be loved and to love others. She worked as a certified nursing assistant, caring for patients suffering from debilitating illnesses in Boise for over 18 years. Moreover, Corinne absolutely loved being a mother and her greatest accomplishment in life, and what she felt most proud of, was raising three amazing children, her two daughters, Erica Corrigan, and Alyssa Partida, and son Cristian Partida.

Corinne was born August 3, 1963, at the Mercy Hospital in Nampa, Idaho. She was raised on a farm in Kuna, Idaho and would often help her uncle Duane Yamamoto, feeding and milking cows and other livestock, and helped care for her grandmother Shizu Yamamoto. When she was born, the whole family doted on Corinne, much to the chagrin of her younger brother Kevin. Her brother Kevin loved teasing Corinne and they would often go back and forth bickering, however their bond as siblings was strong and Kevin will truly miss her presence and being able to call her “Coweenie”.

When Corinne was eight years old, her Father William Dean Hadway passed away. She was a “daddy’s” girl and eternally missed him. Thankfully, her Uncle Duane stepped in and provided support and acted as a father figure. Eventually Corinne’s mother, Ruth remarried Bill Farner whom Corinne always called dad. Duane, Bill, and Ruth will dearly miss Corinne, and especially miss her commanding presence and personality.

Corinne is survived by her loving daughters: Erica and husband, Drew Corrigan, and Alyssa Partida; and loving son, Cristian, and wife Natalie Partida; grandchildren: Nora Corrigan and Allison Partida. Corinne is also survived by her mother, Ruth Katsumi Farner and stepfather Bill Farner, along with brother Kevin Hadway and wife, Traci Johnston, sister Kristl and husband David Harbour. She is preceded in death by her husband Luis Partida and Father William Dean Hadway.

While Corinne’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember Corinne in a way that honors her spirit. Her parents Ruth and Bill Farner along with her uncle, Duane Yamamoto and Aunt Judy invite the community to join them in a Celebration of Life Ceremony. The services will begin Friday, April 22, 2022, at 11:00AM, located at Meridian Friends Church, 1021 W. Pine St., Meridian, ID 83642.  A burial will take place following at the Kuna Cemetery, 1321 W Boise St, Kuna, ID 83634. A reception will follow at Enrique's Mexican Restaurant, 345 N Ave E Ave, Kuna, ID 83634.
