D. Edward Davis

D. Edward Davis, 92, of Nampa, passed away at a local care facility in Nampa on Friday, February 26, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So. – 208-442-8171 on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM A private interment will be at the Kohlerlawn Cemetery. D. Edward Davis was born in 1929 in Red Oak, Iowa. He was the only child of eight born in a hospital. Ed, Dorothy and the family moved to Nampa in 1958. Ed worked at Armor and Co. for almost 30 years. He and Dorothy were charter members of the Berean Baptist Church which is now New Hope Baptist Church.

Ed is survived by his five children and their spouses; 12 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 1829 W. Iowa Ave., Nampa, ID 83686 or Boise Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 1494, Boise, ID 83701.
