Dale Scott

We are sad to announce the passing of Dale Scott 55 of Nampa, ID. He passed away on August 6, 2023 at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, surrounded by his loved ones. His death was the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. 

A funeral service to honor him will be held at 10:00 a.m. on August 12th at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave, South.  There will be a viewing on Friday August 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Dale was born on October 10th, 1967 in Nampa, ID, the oldest of two children born to Harold and Connie Scott.  Attending Nampa schools he graduated in1986 from Nampa High School.  While in school he was very active in 4-H and FFA and was fortunate to participate in a tour of Washington D.C. and the World's Fair in Tennessee.  After completing his schooling he began his career at Amalgamated Sugar Co. from which he retired after more than 30 years of service.

On June 22, 2015 Dale married Tawnya Christiansen in Nampa.  With this marriage Dale acquired 2 stepchildren Shanel and Brandon.  Dale's favorite hobbies included riding his motorcycle and competing in the motorcycle rodeos, riding four wheelers and trap shooting.

He is survived by his mother, Connie; wife, Tawnya; 2 daughters, Samantha and Jessica; 2 step children, Shanel and Brandon; brother, Shaun; 3 brothers-in-law, Rick (Denise); LaRell (Kelli); Derrin (Kerri) Kennel; 7 grandchildren and another due in February; father-in-law Lyle (Maradene) Kennel; plus many other family members and friends.  Dale is proceeded in death by his father Harold Scott.

Rest in peace Dale, ride those Harleys as fast as your heart can stir up the dirt, like you did in the rodeos.
