Debbie J. Hansen, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
Debbie was born on December 26, 1960 in Rhode Island to parents Robert I. and Jo Ann (Bolyard) Perry. At three months old the family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho then later moving to Kimberly where she started school and then to Marsing where she finished her schooling. Debbie had two boys, Chad and Steven Christiansen. After working at several jobs, Debbie worked hard to become a Farm Bureau agent in Homedale. After a few years there, a lifelong dream of hers came true ~ to raise a mountain lion. She married Clark Hansen in 1988, and shortly thereafter, Debbie welcomed more animals ~ a cougar, 2 raccoons, hedgehogs ~ and later rescuing animals, tigers, more cougars, and raising bobcats and lynx. In 1997 they lovingly got a daughter Kendra, and it was at that time Debbie decided to stop raising the exotic animals to give all her attention to raising Kendra. After several years in Homedale, Debbie moved with Clark and Kendra to Nampa and continued to run their business until she passed away.
Debbie’s passion was her kids and grandkids whom she loved dearly and was blessed to spend so much time with them.
Debbie is survived by her husband Clark, sons Chad (Nikki); Steven (Sarah), daughter Kendra (Lyle); grandchildren Dominic, Cooper, Mikaela, Katie, Kilee, and Kora; mother, Jo Ann Eoff; two sister, Theresa Wilson and Lisa Rhodes, Three brothers, Robert, Roger and Jeff Perry and their families.
Debbie’s love for Jesus and her walk with Him along with her love for her family was shown by her daily. Although her passing is heart-wrenching for all of us, we can all take comfort knowing she is pain free and whole with Jesus.
