Degie Taylor Obituary

Degie Renee Taylor died on March 2, 2021 in Nampa, Idaho at the age of 60.

Born November 7, 1960, in Orange County, California, she was the daughter of Leslie Richard “Dick” and Rita Fletcher.

A kind and gentle person, Degie was a caring and loving daughter, wife and mother who loved spending time with family. Degie possessed a magnetic personality which served as a beacon to others and enabled her with the unique ability to always make everyone feel special. While fiercely protective of her family, she never met a stranger and had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel welcome. Degie was a talented cook and her delicious creations served as the centerpiece of many family gatherings. If ever there was a way for anyone who sat down for a meal at Degie’s table not to receive seconds it remains a mystery since even the family dogs, who were always near her side, received more than their share. Degie was a special person who respected and accepted others for who they were and whose light will continue to serve to help others find their way.
