1945 - 2023
Diana Kay Moser (Blunk), 78, of Nampa, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on October 15, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital in Meridian.
Diana was born on January 27, 1945, in Nampa, Idaho to Wilmer and Wanda Blunk, at the old Mercy Medical Hospital. After graduating from Nampa High School in 1963, she attended Superior Western Beauty College. Diana was formerly married to Richard Hamilton in 1964, the father of her children. She was a cosmetologist for over 40 years, working at such places as Andre’s and Wilma’s House of Beauty.
She had a love for music, and in her younger years, she won awards for contests, such as the Twist. Diana's fondest memory was of dancing with her father, Wilmer.
Diana was an extremely hard worker, taking on more than one job to ensure her children had the best life possible. This included working at The Little Kitchen and Sunrise Café. During one of her shifts at the Sunrise Café, is when she renewed her friendship with Leonard, a high school classmate.
In 1996, Diana and Leonard recited their wedding vows to each other at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church, in Nampa, Idaho. After only 18 years of marriage, Diana lost Leonard to cancer. Following his death, Diana’s daughter, Brandi, moved back home to take care of her until her passing.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Denise Aggen; daughter, Brandi Hamilton; granddaughter, Danielle Hamilton; grandson, Zachary Miller; granddaughter, Brittni Benjamin; brother, Dale Blunk; and many generations of loved ones. Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Leonard Moser; mother, Wanda Blunk; father, Wilmer Blunk; and brother, Ronald Blunk.
