Don was born in Nampa, ID on Saturday July 23rd, 1960, at 2:47pm (4 days after record setting temps) to Don and Goldie (Clowser) Sandifer and from then on he began setting records of his own. As a Bowler, golfer, and pool player. He was also a avid hunter and fisherman. He started cooking at a early age and mastered the smoker and BBQ. He loved BSU football and was a little put out when his sister scheduled her wedding on the day of a game. His sister Leann was born in 1962 and Don was her self appointed protector. and he protected her to the very end. Don wore many hats during his short life, The last one being a real Estate Agent. He had many friends, some as early as kindergarten. His friends were for Life and were his family. So many showed up or called when news spread of his illness. He had so many calls at times he had to shut off his phone just to get some rest. He loved all of his friends and as a family we wish to thank you all for loving Don and for taking care of him and us to the very end. He and his daddy are together again watching John Wayne movies for the hundredth time or enjoying the great outdoors.
He is survived by his mom Goldie Sandifer, sister Leann Sorrell (Gary) and family. Aunts, Uncles and many close cousins. His stepchildren who he raised as his own. Kyle Neumann, Tyler Neumann and Teresa Neumann Thaxton. And his beloved German Shepherd Duke.
In honor of his date of birth and time of birth there will be a memorial service held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 2:47 PM at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. The family requests that you join them after the services for a celebration of Life at the Nampa Bowl Lounge 485 Caldwell Blvd Nampa, ID
