Donna Ruth Cleveland

Donna Ruth Cleveland, age 64, of Nampa passed away September 25, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

Donna was born May 30th, 1959, to Donald and Ruth Cleveland in Hope Mills, North Carolina. Her life was full of adventure and travel. You would often find her smiling as she shared stories of those adventures. She was particularly fond of her time spent in Germany pre-kindergarten. At an early age, Donna married Leland McDaniel. This relationship lasted nineteen years in which she had two sons, Don and Brian McDaniel. She later married Neal Farnworth, this relationship also lasted nineteen years and produced another son Austin Farnworth.

Donna often stated her children are her pride and joy. She loved cheering each of her sons on as she spent countless hours on baseball fields, cub scouts and hockey arenas. She was devoted to her family, so much so that she was the glue that kept it all together. As grandkids came into the picture, she spent as much time as she could getting them involved in game nights, working puzzles, and even driving to another county just to have lunch. She was always eager to spend time with her family. Christmas was by far her favorite holiday of the year. She went to great lengths to make sure her family always had an amazing and memorable Christmas. She also loved taking trips, cruises and was a proud member of ICMS (Idaho collision and motorcycle safety) where she formed lifelong friendships and established a second family. She was always on the go making new friends and memories.

Donna was employed at Zilog before taking a position at Micron for 10 years. Then in 2010, she went to work for Ameriben as a claim’s processor until her time of illness.

Survived by her mother Ruth Cleveland, Sister Sherry Lewis, and Niece and Nephew Cassie and Tyler Lewis. Great-niece Nariah Bailey-Koch, great-nephew Roman Gallinger, Nova Wallis. Her three sons and their partners, Don and Kristen McDaniel, Brian McDaniel and Renae Lackey, Austin and Lisa Farnworth. Grandchildren Jazmin, Zakery, and Seth McDaniel, Memphis and Madison Farnworth, and Ethan Holland. Great-grandchildren Jordann and Jaxtenn Greenwalt. Ex-husband Neal Farnworth. Sister-in-law Debbie Lawlis and niece and nephews Angie Palmer, Jason, Raymond and David Lawlis. Sister-in-law Lori Duncan and brother-in-law James McDaniel.

Donna is proceeded in death by Father Donald Cleveland, Ex-husband Leland McDaniel, Brother-in-law George Lawlis, Nephew Casey Duncan, Grandparents Bill and Marge Cleveland, Grandparents Blanch and Joe Wickstrom.

Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, Oct 2, 2023, at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Burial will follow in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa. A viewing will be held on Sunday, Oct 1, 2023, at the Nampa Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM.
