Donna McCurry Wells Bonds

January 4, 1936 – October 11, 2020

Donna was born to Ray and Gertrude McCurry on January 4, 1936 the 8th child of 10 children. She was raised and educated in Parma Idaho going to Roswell and Parma schools.

Donna married Bud (Marvin) Wells on August 8, 1954 at 18 years old. Donna and Bud spent 4 years traveling before settling down in Canyon County. Donna and Bud had 3 children that she was very proud of James (Bonne) Wells, Joe (Roz) Wells and Georgia (Steve) White. She had 4 grandchildren Heather (CW) Caress, Amy (Chris) Zesiger, Conner Wells and Jackson White and 3 great grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie and Dillon.

After 25 years of marriage Donna and Bud Divorced

Donna met R.C. Art Bonds in 1981 They had a wonderful time together and shared many adventures from going to Alaska every year for well over 20 years to their love of gardening. Donna got 7 more children of Art's as step- children and many more grandchildren.

Donna lived a very well lived life. She laughed, she cried, and she put herself back together again when broken. Like a clock winding down she was just so tired and worn out. Donna lived the full circle of life and will be missed. She was sassy and spicy and only became more so in her later years.

Donna was an artist from her painting to her floral designs. She loved to bake and can and she was an absolute amazing cook. She has hundreds of fair ribbons and was quite the competitor. Donna's Pie's where especially her gift. Her lemon meringue made the angels sing.

She took so much pride in her family and extended family. Once you were hers you always would be. She had many people that called her grandma. She was always the loudest in the stands at Football games and wrestling matches. Sometimes embarrassing her kids in the process. But her love of her children was all consuming and deep down they appreciated it. Donna was a great Mother and there was always an adventure to be had.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Art, her granddaughter she adored Amy and very loved brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Parma Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
