Obituary

Elsie Mae Money passed away Tuesday, January 18, at Ashley Manor Memory Care Highmont Facility in Boise, Idaho. Daughter of Ernest and Lillie Money, she was born on February 5, 1937, in Miami, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an older brother, Walter Money, and a younger sister, Beverly Luke. She is survived by two younger brothers, Doug Money of Sacramento, California, and Jerry Money of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

She was a devoted daughter who spent her adult life living with and assisting her parents. She was a member of Boise First Church of the Nazarene, now Tree City Church, from her childhood and found Christ as her saviour at an early age. Despite some limitations, she made the most of the choices that life afforded her. She loved going fishing and could catch trout with the best of them. She also loved camping, playing games and family gatherings. Her love for God and her family were both pure and constant.

Her dream as her life came to an end was to be part of a great family reunion in Heaven which is what is taking place right now, praising God for His mercy, love and grace for all eternity.

Funeral services will be held at Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 25. A time of fellowship will follow the service. The service will be live streamed and the link for the live stream is: https://my.gather.app/remember/elsie-mae-money
