Ethel Wanetta (Parsons) Bobo
April 11, 1922 - May 10, 2020
Ethel Wanetta (Parsons) Bobo, 98, was born in Nampa, Idaho to Jesse Parsons and Laura (Harris) Parsons, the second of three girls. They then moved to Kuna where she started first grade. Ethel graduated from Kuna High School in 1941.
After high school she went to work in the office of the Dairymen's Creamery in Meridian and moved to Meridian with her family a few years later. She met her future husband, Jack Bobo, while working at the creamery. They were married November 7, 1947. They later moved to Nampa where Jack was a masonry contractor and Ethel became a homemaker and a great Mom to their five kids. She enjoyed planting flowers and keeping her yard looking great well into her 80's. She was also a wonderful baker! There was always cakes, pies and cookies in the kitchen. Later in life she also became an avid reader and read many books
Survivors include sons Larry (Jan), Rick, Russ, and daughter Jackie (Dave) Mayo, all of Nampa; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack, in 2006; son, Randy, in 2019; sisters, Edith Doan and Hazel Hildebrandt.
