Francisco Valencia was born on January 1, 1974, in Jiquilpan, Michoacán, and passed away on November 11, 2022. In 1990, he moved to the United States where he met the love of his life. Francisco and Simona Valencia were married in 1993 and happily united for 29 years. He was survived by his wife, Simona Valencia, his mother Esperanza Garcia, his siblings, David Valencia, (Humberto) Angeles Ortiz and Juan (Cilvina) Valencia, his children, Alexzander (Veronica) Garcia, (Gerardo) Angela Vidales and, Cristal Valencia, his grandchildren Angel Garcia, Maria Vidales, Mariah Garcia, Jennifer Vidales, and Nicholas Vidales and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Francisco Valencia.
Every Sunday, Simona and Francisco made their way to Our Lady of the Valley, for weekly mass. As an occupation, Amalgamated Sugar gave him the opportunity to gift his coworkers with endless smiles and laughs. In the very limited time he had with his family, he was known for being the shoulder to lean on, calling loved ones to come over after he cooks, buying souvenirs when an item reminded him of someone, and never letting anyone go unloved. Francisco did everything he could for his family, including dedicating all the time and energy he had to make others happy. Besides spending time with loved ones, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping. Francisco Valencia was loved by everyone he encountered, and his legacy will live on through our memory.
