Georgia Belle Mason, 98, of Nampa, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023, at her home. She was born on December 7, 1924, in Ragtown, Wyoming; later called Parco, Wyoming; and now called Sinclair, Wyoming. She was the oldest of four daughters of George S. Flowers and Muriel Agnus Reynolds. She married Frederick Mason on April 17, 1976.
She moved to Idaho at the age of 2. She graduated with the 1944 class. She loved to travel and went whenever she could. One trip she took after her husband retired included 21 states in the East and South. Her other past-time projects were adding information to the family genealogy, bowling, crocheting, and collecting dolls. Her doll collection included over 7000 dolls.
She is survived by 5 daughters; Janice Mervin (Michael); Connie Fuller (Frank); Nanci Sadler; Helen Samuels; Jane Brooks; and 2 sons; Arthur "Art" Hancock and Teddy Burback (Michele) as well as numerous grand and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred, a granddaughter Robin Housh and one great granddaughter, Erica Fuller.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Nampa Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 17, 2023, at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
