Gregory Allen Crandall, 69, of Nampa Idaho, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, in Nampa Idaho.
Greg was born in Huron South Dakota on March 21, 1952, to Archie and Alice (Dahl) Crandall. He was the youngest of four children Judy, Gary, and Joyce. When he was only 2 months old the whole family packed up and moved from South Dakota to Nampa Idaho where he grew up. He graduated from Nampa high in 1970 where he was the cross-country state champion four years straight. After he graduated, he moved to Colorado where he worked at AMI building and installing seats for airplanes and rockets. While in Colorado he enjoyed flying to his favorite city, San Diego, on the weekends to get a break from all the snow and enjoy the sunsets on the beach. He also volunteered as “The Denver Duck”, a mascot he created, for the Denver Broncos.
In 1993 he made a trip to the Philippines where he met his wife Sandrina Suson in Cebu City. In 1996 they married and moved to Nampa where they had two daughters Chanda-Marie Angelina born in 2000 and Alexa Kaylene born in 2002. They had just recently celebrated their 25th anniversary last July.
Greg enjoyed his many hobbies and interests including The Healing Room. He drove in demolition derbies as “Crash Crandall” in car number 69. In 1992 he adventured to Nome Alaska where he mined for gold. He enjoyed collecting and restoring muscle cars from coast to coast. His favorite was the Firebird. He enjoyed watching sunsets, especially on the beach.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Archie, and his father-in-law David. He is survived by his mother Alice, his mother-in-law Angela, his wife Sandrina, his two daughters Chanda-Marie and Alexa, his sisters Judy Kelley and family and Joyce Jones and family, and his brother Gary and his wife Donna
