Homer Joe Gillmore

With heavy hearts we would like to announce Homer Joe Gillmore of Caldwell, Idaho passed away at home surrounded by Family on March 24, 2021. Homer was born on December 21, 1936 to George Dodson and Margaret Elizabeth (Gill) Gillmore in Nampa Idaho. He is survived by his Sister Shirley and Al Hunsperger, Brother Jim and Stella Gillmore and Sister-in-law Joyce Gillmore. He was preceded in death by his brother Lewis Gillmore, brother Kenneth Gillmore, sister Arnelda Avelsgaard, and brother Barney Gillmore.

His Nieces and Nephews are Margaret and Gary Palmer, Robbin and Barry Frandsen, Dixie and Neal Mackay, Larry and Sandra Gillmore, Rodger and Mary Gillmore, Sue and Bob Hunsperger, Barbara and Dave Brown, Wanda Dapron, Anita Bailey, Randi Wasikowski and Misty and Mike Anderson.

Homer worked for Stone Lumber for 10 Years and during the summer he worked at the Idaho Forest Service for 8 years. He then went to work at Lloyd Lumber at stayed there for 32 years until he retired in 1999. He lived in Nampa up until 2005 when he moved to Caldwell, Idaho. He spent his last couple months living with Misty and Mike Anderson. He was loved very much by family and friends. He enjoyed riding horses, going camping, riding four wheelers going to rodeos and sitting with family and friends.

We would like to Thank Heart and Home Hospice & Palliative Care for all the kind care that was giving to Homer. He really liked his nurse Sonya for all she did.  Thanks So Much.
