Iola “Olie” K Peppley, 71 of Nampa entered into God’s arms at home on Oct. 1, 2021 surrounded by family.
Olie was born on August 5, 1950 to Mamie Lou and Harold Arnold in Muskogee OK. The family moved to Idaho in 1957 where Olie graduated from Nampa High School in 1968. She married Dennis Peppley in 1969. They started their married life in Long Beach, California where they had their first child Cheryenne Peppley (Drees). They then moved to Nampa where they had their second child Dennis Peppley, Jr. Olie and Dennis divorced, but in their later years became dear friends. She loved playing music with her friends and family and taking care of others. She loved her grandchildren deeply and enjoyed watching them grow into young adults. She also enjoyed crocheting and working puzzles of all kinds.
Olie is survived by her sister Lela Walker, her daughter Cheryenne (Ivan) of North Dakota, her son Dennis Jr (Kristi) of Nampa, as well as grandchildren Ceirra Zeal, Daniel Clark, Kaylee Peppley, Daysa Peppley and Sage Drees. Also, survived by nephews James Craft and Jonathan Craft. Olie is proceeded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother and nephew Boyd Walker Jr.
An open house for the celebration of Olie’s life will be held on October 16, 2021 at 1007 N Scottish St. Nampa, ID 83651 from 2:00-6:00 pm.
The family would like to thank Keystone Hospice for their tender loving care. A special thank you to her LPN Carl for his comfort and compassion during her final days.
