Jacqueline Dell "Jackie" (Perry) Charters

Jacqueline “Jackie” Dell Charters, 80, of Meridian and formerly of Melba, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021. She was born on October 1, 1940 in Merced, California to Dan and Agnes Perry of Stevinson, California. Jackie attended schools in California and graduated from Orestimba High School in Newman, California in 1958. After graduating from High School Jackie attended Cosmetology school in Modesto, California.

On August 12, 1965, in Carson City, NV, Jackie married Harry Charters of Melba, where they made their home until Harry passed away in 1981.  Jackie stayed on the ranch until 2005 and at that time moved to Meridian.  

Jackie continued her love for hair and owned Jackie's Beauty Salon, Melba and Jackie's Hair Affair, Kuna until she retired.

Jackie is survived by daughter Kim and Bret Boatright, Mulhall, OK and son, Dan and Kandie Charters, Melba. Grandchildren, Miranda Boatright Huddleston, Brice Boatright, Ryon Boatright, David Charters, Danika Charters and Eddie Charters. Great Grandchildren, Kalon Huddleston, Lucas Charters and Abigail Charters.  Brothers, Dan and Darold Perry.

Jackie was preceded in death by husband Harry and parents Dan & Agnes Perry.
