Kathleen Kay (Wood) Forrest

Kathleen Kay Forrest, 68, of Nampa, Idaho, went to be with our heavenly father December 27th 2021. A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at a later date.

Kahtleen was a loving mother and grandmother who was born to Glenn and Lois Wood on July 31,1953 in Nampa, Idaho. She was the youngest of 3 children. Growing up she loved to play the piano and was a very devoted Christian.  She finished high school, later married Wayne Forrest, and had 3 children.  She decided that she would be a stay-at-home mom and have a daycare that she ran for many years. Kathy was a smart woman who always had ideas and did the things she wanted to do. She later went on her own and bought property to rent and retired where she loved spending time with her grand-kids, donating her time to Love Inc, taking her family to McCall, and going on lunch dates with friends from church and her grand-kids. She always saw the greater good in everyone and wanted to be the best for her children, always with a beautiful happy heart and smile.

She is survived by her brother, Ron, sister, Nancy of Arizona and sister, Carol and her husband Howie, Meridian, Idaho, her daughter, Lindsey Forrest and her children Skyler and Zac Mathes, Devon and Lily Forrest, her son Jordan Forrest, daughter, Melissa Forrest and her sons Adam and Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Lois Wood.
