Norma Kathleen (Weaver) Massey, the 4th child of 9, was born in a farmhouse near Kuna, Ada County, Idaho to Clarence E. Weaver and Wilsie M. (Wilson) Weaver on Sept. 12, 1921. She passed away on December 16, 2020
She attended grade school in Alberta, Canada through the 8th grade, graduated from Nampa High School in 1940 and was the class valedictorian. Following high school she attended Nampa Business College.
Norma was employed by Savings and Loans, in banking and real estate for many years, retiring as a vice-president of Provident Federal in Nampa.
She was married for a brief period but had no children.
She leaves behind a sister, Leslie McCoy, 12 dearly loved nieces and nephews and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Norma has been retired for 35 years. Before and after retirement, she traveled extensively throughout the world.
Her mother’s side of the family has proudly traced their lineage back to the Mayflower.
She will be dearly missed by her family and her friends.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. David and Mary, twins born and died at birth 6/6/1918, Dennis, Jean, Margaret, Della and Doris, niece Cynthia, nephew Mark and great nephew James.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Norma’s memory to the Idaho Freemason Foundation for Children (219 N. 17th St. Boise, ID 83702).
