Reginald Dale Epp, 63, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away in the early hours of October 6, 2020 in Nampa, Idaho.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. (MDT) on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Mission Aviation Fellowship Headquarters, 112 N Pilatus Ln, Nampa, ID 83687, with his brother, Chaplain Landis Epp, officiating. Burial will follow at Melba Cemetery. Arrangements are by Nampa Funeral Home. "LIVE STREAMING" of the service will occur using a link provided on social media prior to the service time.
Reg was born in Fowler, Kansas, to Samuel and Sadie Epp on October 13, 1956. He went to school in Steinbach, Manitoba, Abbotsford, British Columbia, and Orienta, Oklahoma. He married Mary Epp (nee Ryberg) on June 24, 1978 in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute and Moody Aviation. He served as career staff both on the mission field and at the headquarters for Mission Aviation Fellowship for 35 years. He served faithfully and with great joy in this ministry. He was actively involved in church throughout his life, with his most recent fellowship as Crossroads Community Church.
Reg was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and is survived by his wife Mary Epp, his children Erin (Boyd) Chikatulah, Emily (Richard) Lazar, and Jason Epp, his brothers and sisters, Mavis (Gerald) Reimer, Landis (Evelyn) Epp, Marilyn Pankratz, and Viola (Paul) Peters, and his grandchildren, Jelani and Tarik Chikatulah.
