Renee M. Yeager, 86, of Nampa, passed away on Thursday, May 20 in Nampa. There will be a private family service to honor and celebrate her life.
Renee was born on May 10, 1935 in Cascade, Idaho to Charles and Ina Matteson. Her childhood was spent in Cascade and McCall. She later moved to Boise and worked at Murray’s Drive-In where she met and later married Ray Sword. They had four children, Kathy, Rayan, Mike and Edie. Renee and Ray later divorced. She married Ralph (Jack) Yeager in 1962. Daughter Jana was born in 1964. They moved their family to Nampa where they had a small farm. Later when Jana started school, Renee went to work at the Pik-n-Pakit and later at M & W Market in the Holly Shopping Center where she worked until her retirement. After retirement she enjoyed working in her flower gardens, reading, and working puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack. She is survived by her five children, Kathy Luttrell (Dan), Rayan Braithwait (Lee), Mike Sword (Korinne), Edie O’Dell (Tim), Jana Corbell (Randy), 6 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack.
