Robert Arland "Bob" Foreman

Robert “Bob” Arland Foreman, a retired mechanic and life-long resident and native of Idaho passed away on December 8, 2021 at the age of 81. He passed peacefully at Luna House of Nampa with loved ones by his side. He is now at peace and in paradise for eternity.

Bob is survived by three children: Krisene & Mark Monroe, Jennifer Torres, and Justin & Tonya Foreman; His four grandchildren: Alejandro (Alex) and Mia Torres, and Aspen and Ashley (Jojo) Foreman; His sister Bonnie Riley and brother Neil Foreman; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Mary J. Foreman, his parents, his grandparents, and his sisters Beryle, Neva, Pat and Ruth.

Bob was born in Nampa, Idaho on December 7, 1940, exactly one year before Pearl Harbor was bombed, essentially bringing the U.S. into WWII, to Kirby and Mary (Winifred) Foreman. He enjoyed his upbringing in Oreana Idaho. He graduated, went to mechanics training, and enlisted and served with the Army Reserves until September 24, 1965. On August 19, 1967, he married the love of his life, Mary. Then in December of 1970, on his 30th birthday, they welcomed their first-born daughter, Krisene (Kris). They enjoyed that first year until they welcomed their second daughter Jennifer, six weeks early! What a surprise that was!! A short six years later, along came their next big surprise, a son, Justin. Bob’s family was his life and he worked extremely hard to support them all.

Bob enjoyed Idaho and all it had to offer. He hunted, went fishing, and loved going camping and four-wheeling with his family and close friends. He was a very kind, sweet, and gentle man with a happy-go-lucky personality. He was laid back and extremely easy going. He always enjoyed a good time and a whisky drink. He loved cars and car races and always enjoyed them with his kids. Bob will be deeply missed by his family, close friends, and all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on December 22, 2021, at noon at the graveside in the Oreana Cemetery with a dinner following at the hall in Oreana, Idaho. Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Park Place Assisted Living, and at Luna House as well as Keystone Hospice for all the love and care they showed and gave to Bob.
