Scott Donovan "Scotty", Jr. Speer

Scott Donovan Speer Jr. (Scotty) was born June 3, 1989, in Coleville, Washington. Scotty left us at the age of 33 on August 1, 2022, in Nampa, Idaho. He is survived by his parents Scott Donovan Speer Sr. and Joanne Marie Froehlich. He was the oldest of 4 siblings, including Stephanie Marie Landis, Jesse Scott Speer, and Julissa Marie Speer-Bulmer. He was married to his loving wife Shannon Lynn Speer. His 4 daughters whom he loved so much included Kaedence Marie Eisenberg, Karlee Marie Speer, Kylee Marie Speer, and Addison Lynn Speer. He was a loving husband, father, son, nephew, grandson, brother, and friend. He spent his free time with family and friends as well as racing dirt bikes. He loved being outside, whether fishing, camping, dirt bike riding, snowboarding, or barbecuing. He was a very hard worker and was widely respected. Scotty was an incredible Paving Foreman at Capital Paving Boise for Theresa and George Collingham where "he could do it all". There was nothing he couldn't do and was always willing to figure it out. He ran crews and equipment and selflessly taught others. He was their mill superintendent and mechanic during the winter months in order to keep the business going.  Scotty was a leader but most of all he was their friend. He was full of life and love and always had a way of making people laugh. Scotty was surrounded by many friends who loved and cared for him deeply. There will be a service for Scotty at 3 PM on Friday, August 12th, at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Avenue South, Nampa, Idaho 83651.
