Sean Richardson Obituary

SEAN PATRICK LEE RICHARDSON, 55, of Caldwell, Idaho, passed away on February 26, 2024, from complications following a heart attack. His loss is completely unexpected, and his family is profoundly saddened. Their only consolation is the family dog, Petey, was there to meet him on the other side.

Sean was born June 20, 1968, in Caldwell, Idaho, to Lynette Wallace and Monte Richardson. He spent his early school years at Middleton Elementary School until his mom remarried. The family moved to San Diego where his step-dad, Bob, was stationed with the US Navy. Sean returned to Idaho in 1984 and graduated from New Plymouth High School in 1986.

Less than a year after high school, Sean enlisted in the US Navy as an Aviation Fire Control Technician and worked on F-14 Tomcats at Naval Air Station Pt. Mugu in Oxnard, California. He met his beloved wife, Marge Fox, in 1990 at NAS Pt. Mugu. After marrying in 1991, they both transferred to Naval Air Station Miramar in San Diego. Upon leaving the Navy, Sean and Marge returned to Oxnard, for 4 years where Sean managed a shooting range and gun store. They moved to Idaho to be closer to family when their son, Killian, was almost one year old. Three years later, their daughter, Victoria, was born. Sean has worked for the telephone company since 2000.

Family meant everything to Sean. He is survived by his wife, Marge. Children: Killian Richardson and Victoria Richardson. Parents: Lynette (Bob) Collins and Monte (Cindy) Richardson. Sister Misty (Scott) Burns. Stepbrothers: Gary and Eric Collins. Brothers-in-Law: Joe (Jeanette) Gibbs, Tom Gibbs and David Fox Jr. Sister-in-law: Amy Fox. Father-in-law: Kelvin Bicknell. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sean is preceded in death by his grandparents, Keith Wallace, Lorraine and Don Collins, Cecil and Frances Richardson, Uncle Richard Scott, Aunt Cecilia Benoit and Uncle Melvin Benoit, mother-in-law Mary Bicknell, father-in-law David Fox, father-in-law Ronald Gibbs, cousin Annaka and several great aunts and uncles.

He will be remembered for all the heart and conversation he shared with family and friends. He truly loved each of them – and if you knew him, you knew it. Sean was truly a one-of-a-kind person that will be missed dearly. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of the many organizations that assist veterans.
