In the quiet corners of Nampa, Idaho, a luminous soul has taken its final bow. Silvia, known affectionately as Lily, departed from our mortal realm on November 6, 2023 at the age of 84. Born on a crisp day in March of 1939, in the enchanting countryside of Romania, Lily’s journey on this earth was one of extraordinary depth and grace.
A tapestry of virtues adorned Lily’s spirit, as she danced through life with an ethereal lightness. Happy, brave, devoted, and steadfast, she possessed a love that knew no bounds. With the wisdom of a sage and the heart of a pioneer, she embarked on a noble path dedicating herself to her loving husband and children they would bring onto this earth. As a mother and caretaker, she wove a symphony of compassion and expertise, bringing solace to those in need. Her touch, gentle, yet firm was a balm to the wounded souls who sought her tender care.
Lily was a beacon of unwavering, loyalty, and devotion. A partner, a confidante, and a true friend, she stood as a pillar of strength for those fortunate enough to have her in their lives. Boundless love flowed from her, a river of warmth that nourished the hearts of her cherished loved ones.
Through the legacy of her children, she wove the threads of love, guidance, and unwavering support. Each grandchild, who lovingly called her Maia, and each of her great grandchildren to whom she was Big Maia, a testament of her boundless dedication and the legacy of her love she bestowed upon them.
Preceded in death by her loving husband Nutu (1992) and her daughter Alexanda (1970).
In the realm of faith, Lily found solace and tranquility within the walls of her beloved church. It was here that her spirit soared with the celestial chorus, finding solace in the embrace of a higher power. Her incessant prayers for her loved ones, especially her children are felt and continue to be felt from the high throne of glory, on which her King and Savior Jesus Christ reigns.
Amidst the ebbs and flow of life’s currents, Lily found respite in her cherished hobbies of poetry, playing the harmonica and crocheting, which she enjoyed to her last days. Raising her 13 kids, a labor of love, became her masterpiece. With deft hands and a tender heart, she sculpted the lives of children, nurturing their dreams, and instilling within them the seeds of compassion and resilience. Through her devotion, she crafted a symphony of souls destined to leave an indelible mark upon the world.
