I grew up in a place called home, it was a place that was filled with so many memories. I had a life at one time as a child growing up with two brothers. Don, and Herb. They were my protectors. Now they are both gone. I loved my brothers. Herb introduced me to the music of Bob Dylan. I play the harmonica because that. Herb tried so hard to help me through my struggles in life.He was a big brother, a father, and a friend to me. I will always , always remember you my dear sweet friend. My big brother.

It was my privilege to have worked for Boise Cascade for almost all the time Herb was there. He was certainly a hard worker and committed to making sure that his fellow employees were treated fairly within the work place. My prayers go out to his family at this time of loss.

I am so very sorry to learn of Herbie's passing. He was a good fellow at Caldwell High School, many years ago, a very nice guy - shy and quiet but always had a smile and a nod. Blessings to his family, and may your memories be sweet. RIP Herbie.

Gabriel please get ahold of me. Love you. Herb was a great father and a very special friend. One of the first people I met when I moved to Idaho. You will alway be in my heart.

I will long remember our great political discussions (even though we hardly ever agreed)... the wonderful Labor Day Weekend trip to Disneyland with he and Kim many years back... our weekend in Sun Valley... the fun parties, get-togethers and dinners over the years... I haven't seen him much over the past few years since Kimberly passed away, but have thought of him often. My sincere sympathy to Gina and Gabriel, brother Ted, and all of Herb's extended family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
