We are so thankful to have know James for so many years. To see him sing, preach, finally get married and start a family. Always a pleasure to be around in different work arenas , at church, or car shows. We will see you soon James but will miss you until that time comes. God certainly gifted you in many areas that life presents. Perhaps being truly kind hearted was at the top.
See you soon my friend , we will keep Stephanie and your boys in our prayers.

We knew him from D&B. He always made our customer service experience amazing. He was such an inspiration and oh so kind. If he will be so missed by his customers, who became friends, then I can only imagine how deep a hole his passing will be leaving in his family and close friend's lives. We are so sorry for your tremendous loss.

Love and prayer to you, Stephanie, Zane, Jace, Owen. I will always remember joy when I remember James. It's hard to recall his face without a smile on it. I'm thankful to have known him those few years in Portland. It's heartbreaking that you must face the future without him, but thank the LORD, there is grace, strength, and most of all hope. You will be together again. We are weeping now, but the tears will be wiped away!

Stephanie, boys and Dalton family,

My sincerest condolences for your loss. Having known James since the early 90's I always enjoyed his humor as outlined in his beautiful obituary. I hope in the days ahead you will find more smiles than tears, more laughter than greif and more warmth than lonliness as I am sure this is what James would want. He lived his life out loud from everything that I saw and though we are only distantly related by marraige, I am proud to call him Brother.

I knew James in high school. He was a kind a gracious man then. I saw him a time or two since graduation and he was still kind and gracious. My heart aches for the loss his family is experiencing. So grateful he knew his savior. Prayers to those who will miss his presence. May you find comfort in the one who loves you best ❤

Cont. Pastor James reminded me of the Lords Love and Mercy. I looked forward to seeing James at D and B because I always became uplifted by his words of encouragement. Thus being healed of the suicidal thought that followed me since my Sons death. James than became Pastor James to me and I will never forget his wonderful sermons and how he could love people the way we all should, Just like Jesus did when he walked the earth. Bless you Stephanie for the loss of your Soulmate .Bless you Zane,Jace and Owen for the loss of your Dad, Bless you Joyce no matter how old our children are we always want them close to us.
