Jeanette Jean Frazier

June 29, 1940 ~ July 23, 2015 (age 75) 75 Years Old

Jeanette Jean Frazier of Nampa Idaho passed away Thursday July 23, 2015 of natural causes.

Jeanette was born June 29, 1940 in Strathmore California to L.D. & Berniece Mayfield.

She graduated from Grady High School in Grady New Mexico in 1957.

Married Arnold Cross in 1959. Their daughter Dayna was born in 1966; Son Shannon was born in 1969. The two divorced several years later.

On April 20, 1979 in Rogue River Oregon Mom would marry the love of her life Rodney Frazier.

He was not only her best friend but he would become an amazing father to Dayna and Shannon.

Mom worked various jobs, finishing hour carrier of 20 years for Micron. But no matter what the job was she taught us to work hard and to your best ability. She was a role model of what a good mother should be. She was so good at it she was promoted to grandmother. Traci was born in 1986 and Daniel in 1988. She was and continued to be so proud of each of them. Just when she thought life could not get much better Traci thought it was time for Grandma to get another promotion to Great Grandma. Trendon, Treyvon and Tayvion thought the world of their GiGi.

She was a devoted big sister to her little brother Ronnie and Edwin. She was everyone’s favorite Aunt Jeanette to numerous nieces & nephews. She was their friend and protector. And each knew how much she loved them.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years Rodney; children Dayna (Don) Milliron and Shannon (Jan) Frazier; grandchildren Traci (Keith) and Daniel (Sherie) Weaver; mother Berniece; brother Edwin and Jackie; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts & uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father L.D. Mayfield, brother Ronnie Mayfield and nephew Jerry Mayfield.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday July 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Dry Creek Cemetery under direction of Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.

Special thanks to Dad for loving and taking such good care of Mom. Thank you for your unconditional love to each of us. We love you and will do our best to continue to make you and Mom proud.
