Desiree, Brit and Anthony,
We cannot imagine the grief and loss you must be feeling and are so incredibly sad for your family. Joey was an incredible person, really one of a kind. We all feel his loss and will miss him until the end of our days. He was so funny and sweet and caring. To this day, both Bobby and Ruby carry many of his attributes and influences with them.. especially how he always talked to the animals in that high sing song and silly voice. Just yesterday Ruby was out with the horses calling to VP and used what I call 'the Joey voice'. I have had a candle lit for him since I heard the news and I am hoping that you all are surrounded by love, support and hope right now and that that love and support continues. We are so far away here in Spain but know that we are thinking of you all.. Our memories of Joey are precious to us and always will be. With love, Schanen, Ruby and Bobby Unser
